What areas of my body can be treated?
The underarms are the most commonly treated area, but please feel free to discuss with our medical injectors about any other areas of the body that you might like to have treated.
What results can I expect from hyperhidrosis treatment?
Our treatment prevents the over-production of sweat. Many clients note the results can last up to one year, but this is dependent on the individual. The onset of the effects of Botox® takes around seven to 14 days and can last up to 12 months, depending on the individual.
Pre-treatment advice
Do not consume alcohol during the 24 hours before treatment. We also advise that you avoid using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs a couple of days before your treatment (unless they are taken for a chronic medical condition). Avoiding these medications will reduce your risk of bruising at the point of injection. Ask your medical injector if you have any concerns.
How many treatments will I need?
As this treatment temporarily reduces the overactive sweat glands, further treatment will be needed. The treatment can last up to 12 months, depending on the individual. A follow-up appointment can be arranged to check the results between 2 – 4 weeks after the initial treatment.
Aftercare
