Pre-treatment advice
Prior to the treatment, alcohol cannot be consumed 24 hours before. We also advise that you avoid using aspirin or other non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs two days before your treatment (unless they are taken to treat chronic medical conditions). By avoiding these medications, it reduces your risk of bruising at the injection sites. Ask your medical practitioner, if you have any concerns about undergoing Anti-Wrinkle treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Each Anti-Wrinkle injection lasts between 3-4 months, depending on the individual. We recommend having multiple treatments to maintain the anti-ageing results and keep the skin looking youthful. Anti-Wrinkle injections are not permanent as the filler is biodegradable. The blocked signals naturally become unblocked as your body breaks it down and the nerve endings reconnect, slowly increasing muscle movement to normal functionality again.
Aftercare
Having Anti-Wrinkle injections shouldn’t affect your daily life too much. We do recommend that during the healing stage you avoid wearing makeup unless it is mineral-based make-up. After your treatment.
Another recommendation is that you do not go to the gym, or use its facilities, like saunas, steam rooms or swimming pools, on the same day as you have had your treatment. You should also not touch the injected area as this can cause infection.
